Excellent new ZSL site giving information on animals on the EDGE (“Evolutionarily Distinct and Globally Endangered”). Includes video clips and other information on a range of animals from the Slender loris to the Long-beaked Echidna. There is a “Top 100” endangered species, but these are all mammals. Is this telling us something about endangered species, or about the public’s mammalo-centric attitudes?
